Marcos A. Tejeda is a leading entrepreneur, activist, communicator and community leader in the State of Florida. He was born in the city of Santo Domingo (DR) and later lived in New York City and currently in Florida.
He graduated with a degree in Economics from New York University, Herbert H. Lehman College (CUNY) in 1988 and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from La Guardia C. College in Long Island City, NY.
Graduated in Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Miami (Kouber Center) in 1996.
He is president of 1 PLUS TAX & ACCOUNTING GROUP, INC., Which provides general accounting and tax preparation services for federal and individual small and medium businesses in the state of Florida.
Tejeda is an active member of the National Association of Accountants (NSA) and the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP).
He was President of the Association of Writers of Art (Acroarte-filial Florida) for eight (8) consecutive years and is an active member of the Dominican Association of Journalism (CDP).
He founded the newspaper El Sol de la Florida in 1994 and since then has been its director. He is president of EL SOL MEDIA GROUP, INC., Which manages several publications and media.
Owner of the radio station El Sol 105FM.com and the newspaper The Sun Post.
